What is PricingFast?

PricingFast tests a new price on part of your new visitors and tells you which price earns more per visitor. It works with your Stripe account and your own pricing page.

How does PricingFast work with Stripe?

You connect Stripe with OAuth. We add your test prices to Stripe as normal prices, under your plan names, and leave today's prices as they are. Checkout runs through Stripe as usual. We never see card details.

How do I install it?

Accepted Answer

Your coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or another) installs it from one prompt or through our MCP server. It makes a small change on a branch: the PricingFast script, a data-pf-price attribute on your prices, and a PRICINGFAST_ENABLED switch. You check it on localhost, deploy it like any other change, then press Launch.

What happens if PricingFast is down or slow?

Your page never waits on our servers: the PricingFast script loads in the background. If it doesn't answer within 1.5 seconds, your page shows its own prices and checkout keeps working. A paused test, a test that isn't launched yet, or any error falls back the same way.

When does a test go live?

Accepted Answer

Only when you press Launch in the dashboard. Your coding agent can't launch a test. Until then, visitors on your live site see today's prices. At launch you choose how many new visitors see the test price: 10, 25 or 50%.

Can I stop a test right away?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Press Pause in the dashboard header, or use the link in any PricingFast email. Every visitor gets today's prices on their next page load, and your data is kept. To remove the script entirely, set PRICINGFAST_ENABLED=false and redeploy.

Will this affect my existing subscribers?

Accepted Answer

No. PricingFast never changes existing subscriptions. Only new checkouts can see a test price.

Is PricingFast GDPR compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We store a random visitor ID (the pf_vid cookie), which price each visitor saw, and their purchases from Stripe. No names, emails or card details. Data is hosted in the EU (Ireland). For your visitors' data we act as your processor, and a DPA is available on request. List the pf_vid cookie in your own privacy policy.

How long does a test take?

Until there are enough sales to be sure: at least 30, and 95% confidence that one price earns more per visitor. More traffic, or a bigger share of visitors on the test price, gets you there sooner. Your dashboard shows the estimated days left.

What happens when I end a test?

Accepted Answer

You pick the price to keep for each plan, and every new visitor sees it from then on. The other price is archived in Stripe: nobody new can buy it, but customers who already subscribed at it keep their plan and renew at the same price. Nobody is moved or charged differently. Results stay in your dashboard.
