Use Statsig if your team already ships with it and tests far more than prices. Use PricingFast if you want a Stripe price test without wiring revenue events yourself.
- Statsig’s free Developer plan covers 2M events a month; Pro is $150/month.
- Revenue reaches Statsig through events you log, integrations such as RevenueCat, or your warehouse.
- PricingFast reads revenue from your Stripe checkouts directly.
What Statsig is
Statsig combines feature flags, experiments, product analytics and session replay. Experiments can use frequentist or Bayesian analysis, with sequential testing for frequentist tests. Revenue metrics come from events your code logs, from integrations such as RevenueCat, or, on the Warehouse Native setup, from data in your own warehouse.
In September 2025 OpenAI announced it would acquire Statsig for about $1.1 billion. At the time, Statsig said it would keep operating and serving its customers.
Facts about Statsig come from its pricing page, docs and press coverage, checked October 2026. See the sources at the end. Spotted something out of date? Tell us and we’ll fix it.

When Statsig fits better
- Your team already uses Statsig for flags and experiments.
- You run many experiments a month, not only on prices.
- You sell in mobile apps through RevenueCat and want revenue in the same tool.
When PricingFast fits better
- You sell on the web through Stripe and want to test a price on your existing pricing page.
- You don’t want to log purchase events and match them to experiment users yourself.
- You want a fixed stop rule and a fallback on your checkout without writing them.
Switching from Statsig
- 1
Keep Statsig for other experiments
The two run side by side. PricingFast only handles the price on your pricing page.
- 2
Remove any price experiment
So the two tools don’t both change the price.
- 3
Install PricingFast with your coding agent
Rehearse on localhost, then press Launch.
Questions
Can you A/B test pricing with Statsig?
Yes. Create the test price in Stripe, use a Statsig experiment to show it to part of your users and send them to the matching checkout, then log purchases with their value (or bring Stripe data from your warehouse) and use revenue as the experiment metric.
Is Statsig still available after the OpenAI deal?
OpenAI announced the acquisition in September 2025, and Statsig said it would keep serving customers. Its pricing page still lists a free Developer plan and a $150/month Pro plan as of October 2026.
Can I use Statsig and PricingFast together?
Yes. Keep Statsig for product experiments and let PricingFast handle the price test. Just don't change the price with a Statsig experiment at the same time.
